Shadow Creek:  Golf's Best Kept Secret 

When built by Steve Wynn of the Mirage, Shadow Creek was reportedly the most expensive golf course ever designed.  It may also be the world's most exclusive golf course as well.  With only about 10 tee times a day, you could play round after round without ever seeing another golfer.

How nice is Shadow Creek?  Imagine Augusta.  But with (believe it or not) a more lush landscape , with even more plants and flowers than Augusta.  And fewer golfers.  Add the rare and exotic animals and all the colorful tropical birds and no other course in the world can quite compare. Did we mention the custom golf carts stocked to the brim with all your favorite refreshments? Shadow Creek is truly any golfer's Utopia.

Rumors are, that to qualify,  you'll need a "gambling line" of $100,000 or more.  This is not exactly true. Presently, the minimum requirements are to gamble $400 to $500 per hand for at least four hours at the Mirage.  Even this may not be enough.  Either way,  you'll have to ask to even have a shot.

Probably the easiest way to be able to play Shadow Creek would be to make the UNLV varsity golf team.  Shadow Creek just happens to be their practice course. 

One final note: If you are lucky enough to get on Shadow Creek,  if you happen to see any one famous, do not ask for autographs, this will get you 86'ed immediately!
