Choosing the Right Las Vegas Blackjack Game.

All Las Vegas games of blackjack were not created equal. Just one-half of a percentage point can greatly affect your win/loss total over time.  To determine the best blackjack game for your money,  just use the chart below.

Note:  This chart assumes a one deck game, double on any two cards, no surrender and no doubling after splitting. To calculate your exact Basic Strategy Expectation for any of the variances in different blackjack games, just add the positive changes to the base game of "0".  Then, subtract the negative variations.  Usually, this figure will be between -1.0% and 0.0% (even).  This is your disadvantage. In the rare instance that this number is a positive number, this means that, using Basic Strategy, you would actually have an slight advantage over the casino in the long run.

These small percentages may seem trivial, but they are fairly significant.  Gambling advantages work in much the same way that compounding interest on loans work, at first the loss may seem small, but gambling for any length of time and you'll see first hand the impact of seemingly insignificant percentages.

To achieve these expected percentages, you must play Basic Strategy.  Following is a list  of 21 simple rules that will enable you to play almost perfect Basic Strategy!

(4 Deck Basic Strategy-No Double Allowed After Split)

Please note: There are versions of Basic Strategy for one deck, one deck w/double after split, two decks, six decks, etc. This is Basic Strategy for four decks, no double after split. We feel this is the most flexible of the Basic Strategies. There are only minor differences between the different strategies, and don't feel, that for the average player, it is worth the effort to memorize each strategy.

(The "Golden Rules" are listed in order of occurance, with the most common hands listed first, then the less common hands.)

Basic Strategy means you'll get the full value of your playing dollar.  When used with our Comp Secrets, the average player can gain a huge advantage over the house.  Imagine, being able to play the casino to virtually a tie, and then having the casino giving you free dinners, rooms, shows, and even air fare.  It's not only possible, it's easy!  For the occasional player who only comes to Las Vegas once a year or so, just remembering the first 5 or 6 of our Golden Rules of Blackjack, is probably enough to really decrease the house's advantage.  But if any one would take the time to learn all 21 rules in addition to learning the Comp Secrets, it will become fairly obvious that the best vacation value any where is here in Las Vegas.

 Good Luck!
